Bettina Balnis

Bettina komt uit Duitsland en is een fervent onderwater fotografe.
In het dagelijkse leven werkt ze in een ontwikkeling center voor de automotive industrie.
Bettina is beginnen duiken in 1998 in de Kemer baai in Turkije.Ze heeft momenteel al 1300 duiken gelogd in haar logboek.
Ze is ook een echte Zeeland duikster. Circa 600 duiken deed ze daar al.

Als fotografe is ze begonnen met een compact camera Sony P2 , waarna de Olympus 5060 volgde. Hiermee heeft zij de eerste stappen van onderwaterfotografie onder de knie proberen krijgen.
Later kwam dan een eerste spiegelreflex in huis, mijn huidige camera een Nikon D80. Later wil ik wel overstappen naar een toestel met een hogere ISO gevoeligheid zoals de Nikon D7000

Bettina comes from Germany.
In daily life she working in a development center for the automotive industry.
Bettina started diving in Kemer, Turkey in 1998. She logged so far already 1300 dives.
She’s addicted to Zeeland in the Netherlands where she made so far already over 600 dives.

She started taking pictures using a compact camera Sony P2, followed by the Olympus 5060.
With these camera’s she made her first steps into underwater photography and also tried to learn the different settings and techniques.
Finally she bought a reflex camera, a Nikon D80. She would love to get a D7000 and try out it’s high ISO sensitivity.
